Excavation Support and Foundation Ground Improvement Using Jet Grouting Method – A Case Study

One of the soil improvement methods is using soil-cement columns, and one most common implementing these columns Jet grouting method. In this article, performance in excavation wall stabilization investigated a project located Chalous, north Iran, by several experimental real scale at depths 4, 8, 15 meters diameter 80 cm. By comparing settlement before after improvement, it was found that average settlement, which range 186 mm reached about 68 jet It has been observed foundation significantly reduced improving ground with columns. On other hand, results study showed method also very effective stabilizing walls. The maximum displacement crest 3.4 cm, behind limited to 12 mm.
